The place is beautiful and the rooms are clean and lovely, but there is no gas or water heater, and the bathrooms are not good. The location is beautiful on the river.

I visited this lovely property at the end of September 2026 and the stay was great. The time of year we chose to stay was perfect weather and temperatures and comfortable enough without a/c. The property has a fantastic view of the river and is located close to the train station (Interlaken Ost), restaurants and stores (apprx 10-15 mins walking distance). We really enjoyed the view from our room as well as the peaceful surroundings. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. I definitely recommend booking a room with a river view! Absolutely brilliant views all day. The staff we interacted with were pleasant and particularly, Mr. Zahir Khan is one of the kindest, super helpful and hospitable people I have ever met. Even before our stay we were provided with useful directions and helpful need to knows before arriving. I sincerely hope to visit this place again.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights with my family in September 2026. The location is excellent — it is within walking distance of the town center, right next to the lake and surrounded by the forest, creating a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The owner is always on site and personally oversees the hotel, making sure that everything runs smoothly and as it should. The daily shuttle service to the train station every morning is a great convenience. Each room has its own private parking space directly in front of it. There is also a beautiful green garden in front of the rooms, with a table and chairs dedicated to each room. Sitting by the lake and enjoying the surroundings is truly wonderful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable enough, and everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel offers excellent value for money. I definitely recommend this hotel and would be very happy to stay here again.

Fantastic hotel! The rooms have gorgeous views, are incredibly spacious and are sparkling clean. The food at the restaurant is excellent and of very high quality. Highly recommend the hotel.

I just checked out this beautiful and peaceful place, everything was just awesome I had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy my visit. The service was excellent, even the food was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was wonderful. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay. I would definitely love to come back!

One of the bests hotels in Switzerland, especially in Interlaken. The food is fresh, tasty and home feels. The owner is friendly and godo enough to drop you at station. Overall very nice experience and must visit.

Great location super close to town and easy to walk to and from the train. The bedroom was small but very clean had its own sink in the room which is great for a shared bathroom accommodation. The bathroom was very clean and always stocked and it has separate men’s and women’s. It’s a very quiet location right on the camp site

The hotel was very comfortable, with a spacious room and a beautiful view at the back overlooking the river. There were chairs and a table by the river, where we really enjoyed having our meals and relaxing while enjoying the lovely view. The manager was very cooperative and helpful, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay and would strongly recommend this hotel to others. Sabah Al saeedi

If there were more stars for location I would have chosen that. Really close to the river with a view right from the room that calms the pace of life down. Really great and helpful staff. Always ready to help. Also got some free rides to the station in the morning which they are not obligated to provide.

We travel from england , for 6 days swiss trip. Choosen River Village as our base accomodation , Free drop off service to morning , Breakfast & Dinner Served in good price in interlekan.
