Welcome to Switzerland's first Hotel

Decent place for the price. The rooms were clean and the view was pretty. Overall decent for the orice. Only down side is that they are very stingy with the towels, and the locations is across the river from the train station, but a 10-15 minutes walk (on gravel along the river) from the train station.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Our stay at The River Village in Interlaken was absolutely outstanding and exceeded all our expectations. We stayed here during my wife Rama's 50th birthday trip to Switzerland, and it became one of the highlights of our journey. The hotel is in a beautiful location, surrounded by stunning scenery, and offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. What impressed us most was the exceptional hospitality provided by Rupinder Ji and his family. They are genuinely kind, welcoming, helpful, and professional people who make every guest feel like part of their family. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist with anything made our stay truly memorable. The food at the hotel restaurant was simply amazing. In all my travels, I can honestly say that some of the meals we enjoyed here were among the most delicious I have ever eaten. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great care. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, and the overall service was excellent from start to finish. I highly recommend The River Village to anyone visiting Interlaken.
